AI Platform Engineer (Senior / Staff)

Healthcare in the U.S. is a mess. Komodo Health is fixing that—with data. We’ve mapped the patient journey across the country to build the most complete picture of disease burden and treatment gaps. Our customers are pharma, payers, and health systems who actually want to do something meaningful with that information.

We have an exciting product, marmot, that is AI-native, both in the interface as well as in development, and want to carefully grow high productivity teams around this offering. AI integrated with Komodo's data is giving some of the most unique, real world insights any of us has seen come out of the new LLM era. Our product was just featured on Times Square too!

As part of marmot, we are building an enterprise-grade AI platform, and this build out needs smart individuals who will sit at the nexus of AI Agent architectures, complex data engineering, advanced data science and messy healthcare data.

You will be an ideal candidate if you have data engineering experience as well as some experience in platform engineering, in a startup environment. We don't just want to build pipelines, we want to build AI-assisted systems that can build customized pipelines for our deployments.

This will be a small, nimble team, and we are also experimenting with our work culture as AI disrupts every aspect of it. A hunger for trying out new ideas in every aspect of work would be appreciated!

Perks will include periodic travel to SF/NY for on-site, executive coaching, etc. For the right candidate, we can also consider other perks like a 4 day work-week.
