Software Engineer (Contract)

Job Overview

I am part of the hiring team. We are an early-stage venture building a new consumer mobile product in the health and wellness space, focused on creating a mission-driven platform from the ground up. We are actively hiring an early engineer to support the v1 mobile and backend stack. I will reply to all applicants.

This is a 1099 contract role, 40 hrs per week. Chicago is preferred for regular in-person collaboration, but REMOTE (US) is available. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. as an independent contractor.

Role Overview

You will work closely with the founding team to architect, build, and launch a 0-to-1 mobile product, spanning React Native, backend services and cloud infrastructure. This role has significant influence over technical direction, product decisions, and future team scaling.
