Telecom Solution Engineer

Job Description

Senior Telecom Solution Engineer / Solutions Architect to lead a Channel Bank and legacy telecom retirement initiative at a regulated utility.

You'll evaluate legacy TDM-based systems (Channel Bank, POTS, 56K, T1), map service dependencies, and design phased migrations to modern Ethernet, MPLS, fiber, and wireless solutions.

Key work: service inventory & dependency analysis, migration planning, carrier engagement (ordering, provisioning, turn-ups, disconnects), cutover leadership, risk management, and formal decommissioning to realize cost savings.

Must have deep hands-on telecom experience: TDM/POTS/T1 retirement, Ethernet/MPLS/fiber migrations, carrier coordination, change management in utility/regulated environments.

Hybrid in NYC (2-3 days onsite/week). Candidates must be local to New York.
