• Senior Backend Engineer (Architecture & AI Systems) | Vienna / Remote (Europe) | Full-time | Salary + equity
Early-stage startup building an AI platform that helps architecture and engineering teams reuse knowledge from past projects (documents, drawings, revisions) to reduce costly rework in planning and pre-construction.
You’ll work on multi-tenant backend systems powering hybrid search, document ingestion pipelines, and large-scale indexing across complex engineering datasets.
Stack / areas: PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, vector search, distributed systems, async pipelines.
Looking for:

• 8+ years backend engineering experience, strong systems design skills, experience with distributed systems and production B2B SaaS.
• Small team (currently <10 engineers), high ownership, real production users.
• Backed by Pi Labs and DAR.
