Product Engineer

We're building the AI-native platform for documentation. Teams use GitBook to create and leverage product knowledge — technical docs, API references, user guides, and FAQs.

GitBook is AI-native for both readers and writers (human or otherwise). We provide the tooling that helps technical writers and product teams stay on top of the fast-moving products they're documenting.

We're growing our engineering team and are currently hiring for:

• Product Engineers
  Engineers who enjoy working closely with customers to solve real problems. We don't have PMs or product owners — you'll talk directly with users, ship features, and iterate quickly based on feedback.

• Platform Engineers
  Engineers with experience building and scaling public-facing web platforms. GitBook serves 120M+ page views per month, and our content model presents challenges around concurrent editing, caching, and large-scale delivery.

• Security Engineers
  Hands-on engineers focused on protecting our users, infrastructure, and brand. You'll help us strengthen security across the organization and own initiatives from concept to production.
